Nissan’s much awaited Renault Duster platform based compact SUV, Terrano will be unveiled on August 20 in Mumbai. Previously official sketches of the SUV has been launched by the company which clearly shows that it will have a entire new style as compared to Duster.
Both Nissan Terrano and Renault are powered by same 1.5-litre dCi engine that is available in two states of tune. The difference in both the models are cosmetic and fancy that includes smoked and angular headlights, new front grille, new bumper, new tail lights, etc. in Terrano.
The interiors of Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano will differ in terms of fabric of seats and few changes in terms of look and feel, however Terrano is priced a bit higher as compared to Renault Duster which means we can expect more changes inside the cabin.
Nissan Terrano will be offered in four variants which; XL, XL (O), XV and XV premium. The Terrano is also expected come with an automatic CVT option as on the Nissan Sunny and Nissan Micra.
Nissan Terrano is expected to see a launch in coming festive season, which is best time for a launch in India. The base model is expected to be priced around 8 Lacs.
