Force Motors has officially unveiled two new variants of its flagship model at an event in Pune. The new variants are named EX(Executive) and SX(Superior). The EX model of the Force one SUV is the entry level model and LX one is new fully loaded 4×4 variant.
The SUV was available in only one variant so far and now two more variants has been added to the series. The base model EX gets the 2.6-litre, BSIII compliant, diesel engine that powers the Force Gurkha, and makes 82PS of power and 230Nm of torque. Features like alloy wheels, leather seats, etc. are excluded from the base models to bring down the prices, however foglamps, power steering, body colored bumpers, etc. has been included and the model is available in a 7-seat configuration.
The SX variant is the upgraded version of the current Force one SUV. Force One SX is powered by the same 2200 FM Tech BS IV turbocharged 2.2-litre engine that churns out 141PS power and 321Nm of torque. Force Motors has added features like ABS and EBD as optional and Force One SX comes with both six and seven seat layout. Features like DLRs, leather upholstery and progressive cruise control comes as standard with the SX model.
The high end variant LX will be launched in August which is somehow similar to SX in addition to a 4×4 system.
The colour choices are same for all the three variants, that includes white, black, red, grey, blue and silver.
